Following completion of her Law degree at the University of Hull and her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York, Rachel relocated to the Isle of Man and qualified as an English Solicitor in September 2008 and a Manx Advocate in January 2014. Rachel joined the firm in April 2019.
Rachel’s main areas of practice are private client and trusts. She advises on all areas of estate administration and planning, including wills and probate, the transfer of assets within and outside the family (by gift or inheritance) and advises executors, trustees and beneficiaries on all contentious probate and trust issues. Rachel also advises on issues affecting elderly and vulnerable clients, mental health receiverships and enduring powers of attorney.
Rachel won the George Johnson Law Prize in 2010.
